Resolved Question: IB school course credit question?

im going into grade 10 this year and im in the ALP and hoping to be in the IB program. Im also planning to take French, english, math, grade 11 math, science, grade 11 science, civcs and careers for grade 10..i might've missed out on some but... during the summer, i was supposed to take civcs and careers but then decided not to. would that effect my diploma credits anyhow since i would have less choices for electives?...
